Abigail Leu is the President and Co-Founder of Accesso. She is entering her first year at Wilfrid Laurier University for the Bachelor of Business Administration Program. Abigail is passionate about using entrepreneurship as a means to help those around her. Through her various leadership and business experience, Abigail is able to confidently lead Accesso.
Katie Thien is the Chief Financial Officer at Accesso and a first-year student at Western University planning to study Financial Modelling and business at the Ivey Business School with AEO status. In her role as VP of Finance, Katie brings together her interest in finance with her leadership experience as a Taekwondo instructor, attention to detail as a student researcher at UHN, and her passion for accessibility as a volunteer helping deaf adults with intellectual disabilities.
Gloria Hauer is the Chief of Corporate Social Responsibility at Accesso. She is an incoming first-year commerce student at the Degroote School of Business at McMaster University, with a minor in environmental studies. As VP of CSR, Gloria aims to ensure Accesso is operating in an inclusive, ethical, sustainable, and of course, accessible manner. She looks forward to educating herself as well as her community about accessibility and equity.
Anjiya Malik is the Chief Marketing Officer at Accesso and is currently a first year student at Wilfrid Laurier University studying business. As the Marketing Department head, Anjiya uses her leadership experience in combination with her communication skills to establish a strong brand image for Accesso via various social media platforms.
Tejas Karrthik is a Grade 11 student at Middlefield Collegiate Institute, working as the Chief Executive of Human Resources. His role is to ensure great company-customer relationships and a great inner working environment in the company. He is dedicated to streamlining various processes and welfare of both the company and employees. Tejas is a hardworking leader with a knack for communication and creativity.
Originally from Waterloo, Katherine is a first year iBBA student at the Schulich School of Business and this year’s Outreach Officer. She’s excited to work on expanding Accesso’s impact and creating new partnerships.
Omer Adeel is a Grade 12 student attending York Mills Collegiate Institute, acting as Chief Technology Officer of Accesso. Omer's role is to lead maintenance on the website, along with any IT-related tasks of the organization. As CTO, Omer strives for Accesso's website to be accessible, user-friendly, and accurate for its users. Omer hopes to continue his post-secondary education in computer science/engineering.
Cecilia Cai is the Chief Events Coordinator at Accesso. She oversees the Events department, which is dedicating to hosting various events to promote awareness of the importance of accessibility in the GTA. Cecilia is an incoming first-year student at the University of Western Ontario pursuing a dual degree in International Relations and business at the Ivey Business School with AEO status.
Jim Liu is the VP of Production and Sales at Accesso and a first-year student at UCLA studying Applied Mathematics. In his role as the VP of Production and Sales, Jim incorporated his past three years of involvement in the Junior Achievement Program and his leadership experience from SHAD summer program, ensuring the quality and efficiency of each production process while overseeing the sales of products.
